Descriptions of Services from Your Direct Health Care:
Skilled Nursing: supplied by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who coordinates the plan of care your physician has prescribed, monitors vital signs, administers injections and wound care, among other duties.
Physical Therapy: our physical therapists assist in rehabilitating clients in the way of increased mobility and strength. Daily activities will be practiced with their support to aid in overall improvement and eventual independence in these areas.
Occupational Therapy: this service aims to rehabilitate our clients to gain confidence and ease in performing their regular daily activities such as eating and personal care. Doctors will sometimes prescribe these services solely and without other skilled care.
Speech therapy: our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) specialize in the treatment of swallowing, cognition skills, and communication disorders that may have been negatively affected through surgery, injury, or illness.
Clinical Social Worker: this service supplies support for your social and emotional difficulties resulting from a variety of health events.
Home Health Aide: supportive nursing care that primarily assists with bathing, dressing, and other personal care. Medicare and private insurance policies typically require home health aides to be offered in conjunction with skilled nursing services.
Mobile Physicians: physicians are able to bring equipment and hospital-related services to your home to conduct services such as ultrasound, X-ray, immunizations, EKG, blood work, urine analysis, hearing screening, etc.
